No. There are thousands of different appliance models, appliances from the same manufacturer and even models within a brand use different parts. Because of this, it isn't practical to carry every spare part. If your appliance requires a replacement part, I will identify the correct part during my visit, order it, and arrange a convenient time to return and complete the repair once it has arrived.
Most commonly used parts arrive within 1–3 working days, although some specialist or manufacturer-specific parts can take longer. I'll keep you updated if there are any delays.
No. If I need to return to fit a part that was ordered following my initial visit, you won't be charged a second call-out fee.
I repair most domestic appliances, including washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, electric ovens, cookers, hobs, extractor hoods and fridge freezers.
If possible, please have:
The make and model of the appliance.
A description of the fault.
Any error code shown on the display.
Your postcode and contact details.
The more information you can provide, the better prepared I'll be for the visit.
Sometimes an appliance isn't economical to repair, particularly if parts are no longer available or the repair cost would exceed the value of the appliance. If this is the case, I'll explain why and discuss your options honestly.
Yes, I carry public liability insurance for your peace of mind.
I have City and Guilds training and CPD in all of the appliances listed as my services. I have CPD training for PAT Testing.
